Ragz2Records Studios brings you the sounds from the Nairobi Eastlands. The studio’s sound engineer, Kennedy Muriuki, was trained at Earforce Studios in Amsterdam to catch up with the latest trends in sound recording and editing. Ragz2Records is intent on being at the forefront of the new African ghetto sound. The studio nurtures new talent from the ghettos of Nairobi. Its financial success is backed up by commercial jobs in advertising for radio and TV. Ragz2Records has established a voice database and composers pool which allows 50 ghetto youth to earn an alternative income.
